Receive this revelation in your inner being. You need God’s Presence and Power to do God’s work. How are we going to preach, pray, sing, dance, or play an instrument without the Presence of God? Choirs and groups are often in strong competition to out sing and out-perform one another. Even the Grammy, Stellar and Gospel Award shows carry a strong spirit of competition. The truth is there can be no competition in heaven because since everyone is perfect, all the worshipers there worship in perfection, in spirit and in truth. No one worshiper is better than another in heaven. So competition is of the devil and not of God. Yet, down here on earth, singers, musicians and dancers are competing. Often they are sweating, singing, swaying, shouting with a little choreography bringing the sweat and flesh out while they are bringing the house down!

Recently, I have witnessed postings on Facebook with choirs dancing and even singing the secular song…"Whip, Do the Nae, Nae", Lord Jesus have mercy. The name of Jesus is in the lyrics, but sometimes you wonder where He is because we surely do not sense Him in the midst; there is no power of God in the atmosphere when flesh is the forefront and on the scene!

Rihanna’s lyrics come to my mind now (okay God, here we go again)…. But you put on quite a show, you really had me going; but now it’s time to go, curtains finally closing. That was quite a show, very entertaining, but it’s over now; go on and take a bow (lyrics provided by Google Play). It’s over now, says the Lord! If you want to be in the will of God and walk in His manifested glory, it’s over! No more entertainment in the church saints of God, no more says the Lord for if you continue to do so you have missed MY purpose; and your offer to ME is strange fire which will never please Me.
